Essential Oils

Hey everyone!

If you use Essential Oils, then I have a few questions for you!

What brand do you use?

What scent do you like and what is it used for?

What is your opinion about the bracelets and can you explain to me how they actually work?

Do you prefer diffusers or jewelry or diffusers with humidifiers?

I struggle with anxiety and depression and I’m looking for something specifically to help that. But I also would like something for sleeping as well as immunity.

Your answers are greatly appreciated!

  1. In My opinion, L-Tyrosine is better than essential oils for depression. It’s an amino acid that occurs naturally in the body and is an inexpensive, easy way to feel better. It’s hard to find in stores but if you use amazon you can get it there. As for the oils… Young Living is great! you can download an app to your phone which tells you which oils should be used for what symptoms and weather or not they should be diffused or applied directly. Some oils can also be swallowed. As for the jewelry, I haven’t tried it. L-tyrosine… you will be surprised!

  2. Hi there, I have just started using Ylang Ylang and Vanilla as I want to make my own perfume. I already make my own hand cream as the ones in the shops are usually too watery. But I cannot wear this scent in the summer as I do not want to be followed by wasps! Do you know of an oil that actually deters them? 🙂

  3. Hi Rhyanna, I’ve just stumbled upon your post and thought I’d comment. I’ve been using essential oils (doTERRA) since last summer and wouldn’t be without them now. They’re a safe and natural way to support our emotional and physical well-being, provided they are used as directed.
As for diffuser bracelets, I love those too! They’re made with Lava stones which are naturally porous so can easily absorb essential oils, just add 1-2 drops of your favourite oil to any of the stones and enjoy the therapeutic benefits throughout the day.
I’ve recently started blogging about essential oils, here’s the link if you fancy a look
